Important Dates for the November 5, 2024 General Election

For City Candidates
- 6/5/2024 First day for candidate to file for office with the City election's officer
- 8/27/2024 Last day for candidate to file for office with the City election's officer (please check with City for deadlines)
- 8/30/2024 Last day to withdraw candidacy

For District Candidates
- 6/5/2024 First day for candidate to file for office
- 8/27/2024 Last day for candidate to file for office
- 8/30/2024 Last day to withdraw candidacy

For County, City & District Measures
- 8/16/2024 Last day to file text of referral/ballot title for challenge period
- 9/5/2024 Last day for jurisdictions to file or withdrawal Notice of Measure Election

For Voters
- 9/20/2024 Ballots mailed to military/overseas voters
- 9/23/2024 Absentee ballots available
- 10/7/2024 Ballots mailed to out of state voters
- 10/15/2024 Last day to register to vote - Update or register online at My Vote, Mail a voter registration form, or register in person. Mailed registration cards must be postmarked by 10/15/2024.
- 10/16/2024 Ballots mailed to voters and ballot drop boxes opened Dropsite List (PDF)
- 10/31/2024 Last day Election Official to mail replacement ballots to voters
- 11/5/2024 Election Day - Tillamook County Elections will be open 7am - 8pm. Official Ballot Drop Sites will be closed at 8pm. Ballots must be mailed with a postmark on this date or received in an Official Drop Site before 8pm.

VOTERS' PAMPHLET:

Please remember ballots will not be mailed until October 16th.

All candidates for city positions must file declaration of candidacy with their city elections officer. Cities will file with the County Clerk a certification of who is to be placed on the ballot. The deadline to file the certification with the County Clerk is September 5, 2024. After that date, the County Clerk will link the certification letters below.
