Request for Conditional Use approval for a 19-site recreational campground on an approximately 18-acre portion of a 58.51-acre parcel accessed via Floyd Avenue, a County local access road, and is designated as Tax Lot 600 of Section 6, Township 4 South, Range 10 West of the Willamette Meridian, Tillamook County, Oregon. The proposed campground is within Rural Residential 2-Acre (RR-2) zoned land, with the subject property split zoned RR-2 and Small Farm and Woodlot-20 (SFW-20). The Property Owner and Applicant is Oregon Treehouse Partners LLC.

 

Public hearings will be held by the Tillamook County Planning Commission at 6:30p.m. on Thursday, January 27, 2022, and at 6:30p.m. on Thursday, February 24, 2022, in the Board of County Commissioners Meeting Rooms A & B of the Tillamook County Courthouse, 201 Laurel Avenue, Tillamook, OR  97141.

The Planning Commission stated the written record remain open. The following is the timelines for submitting written Public Testimony on the record:

  • 4:00pm Thursday, January 27 to 4:00pm Thursday, February 3: Anyone may submit written testimony and new evidence.
  • 4:00pm Thursday, February 3 to 4:00pm Thursday, February 10: Anyone may submit written testimony, no new evidence.
  • 4:00pm Thursday, February 10 to 4:00pm Thursday, February 17: Applicant only may submit final written testimony. 

Planning Commission Packet has been posted February 17, 2022 for the February 24, 2022 hearing. The packet include testimony received on the record since the prior January 27, 2022 hearing.
